Carolyn Adams

Carolyn Adams received her bachelor of science degree in dieteics from EKU and completed her masters in allied health education with a nutrition emphasis.

Carolyn was recently named Director of the Salisbury VA Medical Center which has a $176 million budget and 1,408 full-time employees. She has previously held the positions of primary care manager for the Dayton, Ohio, VA Medical Center and program analyst for the CARES Commission in Washington, D.C.

Scholarship & Award Recipients

Madison Arnett - Mary King Burrier Freshman Scholarship
She plans to major in Apparel Design & Merchandising in Fall 08.

Laura Caldon (Dietetics) - Mary King Burrier Scholarship

Jessica Parker (Dietetics)- Roberta B. Hill Scholarship.

 

 

Outstanding Graduate Assistants

A special award was created to recognize this year's Graduate Assistants for service to the Dept. above and beyond the call of duty.

All three are leaving to complete their Internship rotations for a Master's Degree in Community Nutrition. They will be greatly missed.
